PARTICIPATION FEES
The Canton Local School District has established participation fees for the 26-27 school year.

High School athletes receive a student pass as part of their fee.
Middle School athletes have the option to purchase a student pass at the discounted rate of $25.
Payments can be made online: Canton South Participation Fees
Payments can also be made in the athletic office during normal school hours.
Academic Eligibility
High School student athletes must pass the equivalent of five one credit courses during the preceding grading period to maintain eligibility.
Additionally, Canton Local Schools mandates that the GPA in that grading period must be 1.5 or above.
CTE programs and college credit plus courses sometimes have different amounts of credit associated with them. Be sure to check with your counselor or the athletic department if you have any questions. Athletes should never drop a class or change their schedule without consulting their counselor about how it may affect their eligibility.
Physicals and Forms
Canton South athletes are required to have a valid physical on file to participate in practices and contests.
Physicals are offered each summer through our training staff. Watch for information from coaches and the athletic department.
Physical forms must be signed by the doctor and the parents where required.
Athletes also need an Emergency Medical Authorization on file with the school. This form is part of the yearly school forms. Fall athletes especially should fill out the forms as early as possible to avoid missing practices or games.
