Student Learning

Teachers in the Canton Local School District design and facilitate learning experiences that balance appropriate challenge and support, fostering growth while maintaining high expectations for every student.  Our goal is to prepare them for lives of purpose, where finding their ‘E’—whether through Enrollment, Enlistment, Employment, or Entrepreneurship—helps them build fulfilling futures that contribute meaningfully to their communities, and positively impact the world around them.

Department Vision

The Integrated Student Services Department is dedicated to working together to ensure that every Canton Local student receives the appropriate support necessary to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.  By fostering close collaboration between the departments of gifted education, special education, and curriculum we support inclusive and dynamic learning environments where all students- regardless of ability or background- can reach their full potential.
