Not A New Tax Canton Local Schools is asking voters to renew an existing levy on the May 5, 2026, ballot. The 10.8-mill levy has been in place since 2001, and its last five-year renewal was approved in 2021. It supports day-to-day operations (such as staff and supplies) and permanent improvements (such as buses and building upgrades).

Canton Local Schools invites families, staff and community members to review the district’s ONE Plan Draft, a roadmap that helps guide our goals, priorities and continued efforts to support student success. As we work to ensure every child is prepared for what comes next, we value input from those we serve.
