The Portrait of a Wildcat defines the skills and qualities we want every Canton Local student to develop throughout their educational journey. CS Choir Fundraising Concert

Join us Saturday, October 17, at 7 p.m. in the Canton South High School Performing Arts Center for a special fundraising concert featuring Karri Fedor and Kerosene, performing alongside Canton South choir students in grades 6-12! Tickets are $18 for adults and $15 for students and senior citizens.

Say Something Tip Line

Tips may include concerns about threats, violence, bullying, self-harm or other situations where someone may be at risk. Reports can be submitted anonymously through the Say Something app, website or 24/7 crisis hotline and are routed to the appropriate school officials, law enforcement or emergency personnel when intervention is needed. 1-844-5-SAYNOW (1-844-572-9669)

Reading Under the Lights

Faircrest Elementary School is hosting a Reading Under the Lights event for students in Preschool through fifth grade at Brechbuhler Stadium on Tuesday, October 6, from 6:45-7:45pm. Join us for a book swap, scavenger hunt, guest readers, games and prizes!

New Student Registr­ation

Back-to-School

  • All current students MUST complete their First Day Forms before the start of school. Completed forms are required to access Chromebooks during computer distribution at each school. All families have been sent their student's Snapcode, which is needed to verify and update student records. The district office has computers for families to use and fill out forms if needed. To set up an appointment, please call 330-484-8019.
     

    Didn't receive the Snapcode? Check your spam folder for an email from online.enrollment@cantonlocal.org. If you still cannot find it, call the school office (click here for phone numbers) to confirm that your email is correct in our system.

Board of Education Meeting

The Canton Local Board of Education will hold its regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, September 21, 2026, at 6:00 pm in the Canton South High School Community Room. The meeting is open to the public; attendees are asked to use door #2.

Hall of Distinction Class of 2026

The Canton South Alumni & Friends Foundation is proud to announce the Hall of Distinction Class of 2026:

Please join us as we celebrate these outstanding individuals at the Hall of Distinction Induction Ceremony and Dessert Reception on Thursday, October 1, 2026, at Canton South High School.

The event is open to the public, and no tickets are required.

 

The Canton South Alumni Association Foundation announces the Class of 2026 Hall of Distinction honorees with portraits.

CSHS Conferences October 15 4-7:30pm

Canton South High School conferences will be held Thursday, Oct. 15, from 4–7:30 p.m. Families may schedule conference times with their student’s teachers at register at https://www.ptcfast.com/schools/Canton_South_High_School.

Senior families are also invited to attend several activities in the cafeteria that evening. A Senior Class Meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. and cover graduation requirements, important dates and future planning. Herff Jones representatives will be available for cap-and-gown orders. At 6:30 p.m., the University of Mount Union will present financial aid information and remain available until 7:30 p.m. to assist families with FAFSA applications.
