November Renewal Levy 2025

Not a New Tax Canton Local Schools is asking voters to renew an existing levy on the November 4, 2025 ballot. The 10.8-mill levy has been in place since 2001, and its last five-year renewal was approved in 2021. It supports day-to-day operations (like staff and supplies) and permanent improvements (like buses and building upgrades).

BRIK Presentation: November 12, 6pm

Superintendent Larry Tausch will host a BRIK — Building Resiliency in Kids presentation on Wednesday, November 12 at 6:00 p.m. in the Canton South Performing Arts Center. This is the same presentation offered in September, so if you missed it or want a refresher, now’s your chance. Learn practical ways to help students develop healthy online habits, make positive choices, and thrive in school and beyond.

Renewal Levy Facts

Board of Education Meeting October 20

The Canton Local Board of Education will hold a work session to discuss district report card data on Monday, October 20, 2025, at 5:00 pm in the Canton South Community Room. The meeting is open to the public, and the district will provide a QR code to submit questions related to the local report card.

The Board will hold its regularly scheduled meeting at 6:00 pm.
