Please join us in welcoming Brett Yeagley to the Wildcat family!
In a special meeting held Friday, March 19, 2021, the Board of Education hired Brett Yeagley as Superintendent of Canton Local Schools. He will replace Superintendent Milano, who is retiring in July after 39 years in education.
Yeagley is currently the principal of Minerva High School, a position he has held since 2015. He previously served as the principal at Minerva Middle School, assistant principal at Marlington High School, and a social studies teacher and head football coach at Minerva High School.
"The Canton Local Board of Education is excited to have Brett join the team at Canton Local," said Board President Dave Brothers. "He quickly rose to the top during our interview process, and we are confident that he will be able to continue the momentum we have under the leadership of Steve Milano. Brett is a dedicated and enthusiastic student and staff-centered leader who has proven himself an asset to his district and community. We are fortunate to have him as part of our Wildcat family!"
