A Classical Showcase”

The Canton Local Theater Department will present “A Classical Showcase” at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, December 18, at the Canton South Performing Arts Center. Under the direction of Canton Local Drama teacher Mr. John Zamarelli, students in grades 2 through 6 will perform a two act play featuring works by two legendary composers. Act One, titled “Of Mice & Mozart,” tells the story of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart through the perspective of friendly mice who live in his home. Act Two will showcase a rendition of the beloved “Nutcracker Ballet” by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. Tickets are $10, with proceeds helping to offset the costs of costumes and set designs.
