Starting Wednesday, April 24, the indoor track at CSHS will be closed to the public, but the outdoor track at Brechbuhler Stadium will open from 8 am to noon on days school is in session!

Little Shop of Horrors

The Canton South Theater Department is thrilled to announce the staging of the Little Shop of Horrors.

Tickets are reserved seats only, $10 (+ processing fees). The remaining tickets will be available at the door cash/credit/debit one hour before each show. Lower-level seating will be filled before opening the balcony.

Delayed Start During OST Testing

The Spring Ohio State Tests (OSTs) will be administered at Canton South High School on April 10th & 11th and April 23rd - April 25th. Students will only be tested if they are enrolled in a current course that requires an OST: Algebra I, Geometry, English Language Arts II, Biology, American History and American Government.  

These tests are part of the Ohio graduation testing requirements. We encourage students and families to try to rearrange appointments and other events that would take students out of school during testing. 

  • On the scheduled testing days, students taking the test will report to school at their normal time. Testing will take place from 7:36a until 9:30a. 

    • Testing Dates: April 10 & 11 (English II), 23 (Geometry), 24 (Am. History & Government), 25 (Algebra I & Bio)

  • Students not taking tests will have a 2-hour delay schedule. Classes will begin at 9:45 a.m. on those days. 

  • Buses will run at normal times. If your student is not testing and rides the bus to school, they will have a monitored study hall during the testing block.
