Stark Parks Program for Grade 2 Students
Recently second grade students had the opportunity to participate in a free program sponsored through Stark Parks.  Miss Amanda, naturalist, from Sippo Nature Center, talked to students about how native Ohio animals hibernate and migrate and appropriate ways to approach animals and creatures.  She brought many real items for demonstration in a fun and engaging way for students.  Most importantly she highlighted the importance of being respectful to nature.  To end the program students had the chance to see a real corn snake and screech owl!
