The Ohio Department of Health has recently updated the immunization requirements for students for the 2010-2011 school year. A brief summary of the changes are:

• The addition of a Tdap booster requirement for students entering 7th grade
• The addition of the 2nd dose of varicella for students entering Kindergarten
• A requirement that the 4th dose of polio be administered on or after the 4th birthday.

Updated immunization records or proof of the immunization need to be sent to the Health Counselor at the shcool prior to the start of the school year.
